Nothing much has changed there. He has tanked the economy, the stock markets are crashing, he has picked fights with the allies and now has started the dumbest trade war ever! Nothing much is going on up there under that toupee except stupidity of the worst kind!

Trump’s modus operandi is always the same. Open mouth and insert foot! The man doesn’t care if it’s the truth, lies or made-up exaggerations. It’s all fair game to him as long as it gives him the upper hand but that is only in his mind. We know better and the fact-checkers know better too. His racist-tinged lies, inaccuracies and hoopla are affecting his campaign but he doesn’t care. Trump knows best because he is the ‘man’ as far as he is concerned.

On Thursday, he stepped up to the podium again and inserted more than his foot in his mouth this time around. He degraded veterans and gold-star families by saying that mega-donor, Miriam Adelson is a national hero. Not realizing what he had just said, he went on his merry way. According to the self-proclaimed ‘stable genius’ they are one and the same. “The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest award you can get as a civilian, it’s the equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor, but civilian version. It’s actually much better, because everyone gets the Congressional Medal of Honor – that’s soldiers. They’re either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets, or they’re dead.”

Hmm…..what else would you expect from someone who received five military draft deferments during the Vietnam War and is absolutely clueless about what it means to put your life on the line for your country.

Kevin D. Williamson says in his article, “Lazy, Stupid, Childish,” that “Trump’s three big problems as a candidate are precisely the same qualities that mitigated the worst of what might have been a much worse Trump presidency the last time around. He is lazy, he is stupid, and he is childish.”

Perfectly said but let’s add ‘crazy’ to that as well. He further adds, “Trump’s stupidity is wrapped up in his laziness. Anyone who has heard Trump speak or read his unedited writing knows that he is not an especially intelligent man. But his stupidity is compounded by his ignorance – the fact that he is too lazy to do his homework and acquire the kind of grasp of the issues that would make him a more effective candidate.”

No chance of that ever happening because Mr. Trump marches to his own drumbeat and his stupidity arises from that one simple fact. Mr. Williamson knows exactly why Trump’s stupidity is front and center. He says, “there is a reason he wanders all over the place in his speeches – it isn’t only arrogance and self-centeredness. He’s dumber than nine chickens.”

Michael Moore, “Fahrenheit 9/11” director is hopeful that Donald Trump will do more of the same as he faces off with Kamala Harris on the debate stage in September. His prediction is that, “Trump could struggle when facing the Democratic VP onstage. I think I’m going to see what I was hoping for eight years. Once anybody gets under that thin skin anything could happen. On live TV? Trump could explode, start talking like a 12-year-old, or get up and leave.”

Or, he could resort to name-calling, race-baiting and jump up and down like the spoiled little brat he is. Regardless of what he does, he will be facing off against a much better candidate who knows where to strike while the iron is hot. And that folks is the absolute truth and it will be something to watch.

Slam, Dunk & BOOM!

It was a debate of historic proportions and it kept most of us glued to our seats till the very end. The man had no chance against the woman who knew exactly what to do to take him out and she did exactly that. It’s surprising we didn’t hear Trump bawl, “Mummy!” before it was all over or maybe he did.

Harris was a presence to be contended with. She was brilliant, poised, stunning with her comebacks and she showed him the door without having to raise her voice one single iota. He was DONE FOR before he knew what hit him. Trump was left babbling incoherently about crowd size and his own self-importance only to find that the lady knew better. She slammed him with, “That’s rich!’ when he talked about criminals and brought it back to him and laid out his own criminal record before him taunting him with, “Have you forgotten about those?” That was the nail in the coffin moment and it only went downhill from there. The bully was soundly chastised and sent on his way to go play somewhere else.

She was presidential, standing tall head held high and gave the performance of a lifetime. “Orange Jesus,” on the other hand, was left licking his wounds when it was all over. I see that debate over and over in my mind’s eye and there is no question in my mind as to who won the debate last night. It was evident from the get go. Her message was clear. “Don’t mess with me” screamed her body language and if that wasn’t clear enough, her I take no prisoners stance did the rest. She clearly outmatched Trump in every respect and that too was evident.

The 90 minutes flew by in seconds or so it seemed and when it was all over, Kamala Harris emerged like the Titan she is and showed the world, she is ready, willing and able to take on the job as the 47th President of the United States. She had just slayed the MAGA giant with nothing more than common sense and let’s not forget intelligence. Next to her, Trump came across as a fumbling old man who had lost his way. When she called him, “Fella” we knew she had the upper hand and that she was going to run circles around him. She did.

The whisper coming back last night was, “Trump who?!!” It was a slam dunk and one of majestic proportions!

The Battle of the Titans Again?

Not quite. Next week’s debate will pitch a tired old man against a vibrant, young and altogether candidate who knows exactly where to strike while “old man” loses touch with reality, which he is known to do.

The ABC debate will take place on September 10th in Philadelphia. It is a much awaited event. The two candidates will come face to face with gloves off and ready to do battle. Donald J. Trump is already screaming “not fair!” He claims Ms. Harris was, “going to get the questions in advance.” The man is delusional if not a tad crazy. Feeling your age Mr. Trump?

The debate rules were agreed upon on May 15th. No new agreements have been made. One of the rules is, “The microphones for Vice President and former President Donald J. Trump will be muted when it is not their turn to speak. That would be something to watch wouldn’t it? Ms. Harris has a way of getting under Trump’s thin skin and he is known for hitting way below the belt. “Female” brings the worst out of him it seems. Only “pu**y grabbing” is out of the question this time around. He’ll have to toe the line. The lady is known for setting the stage on fire. Trump not so much.

I’m sure preparations will be strenuous boxing style I mean. Rocky Balboa comes to mind but “agent orange” will need more than training to get him fighting fight and thinking on his feet. Perhaps steroids? What do you think?

The man doesn’t stand a chance. Kamala Harris can do the debate with her eyes closed. Trump, on the other hand, will have a hard time keeping to questions asked because all he’ll want to do is stomp on his nemesis and try to drown out her voice any which way he can. Either way, my money is on Kamala Harris. She will emerge the winner. And Trump? Well, he’ll be the sore loser as he usually is crying, “Foul!” Sour grapes Trump is no match for the Titan who is going to slay him with her sweet smile, lots of hutzpah, intelligence and know-how! It will be a knockdown like no other and no one will be able to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

The Convicted Felon vs. The President

The battle of the Titans, it was not! To be brutally honest, it was two old men trying to prove who is the better candidate to hold the highest office in the land. One is currently holding office and the other, the convicted felon, wants the office back or rather the power and all it entails back in his clutches to do with as he pleases.

Who came out the winner? This was a hard one because the man who is known for throwing temper tantrums when he doesn’t get his way, walked on stage to do battle. He was poised, tanned (not orange this time), his hair tacked with some unseen material so that nothing was out of place and with the cat who had swallowed the cream smile plastered on his face, he opened his mouth and nothing had changed. The “all about me” attitude hadn’t changed and according to him, he was and is the only one who is capable of rescuing America from the terrorists, the only one who has the power to do something about border control and the only one America can depend on to make it the most powerful nation in the world. Sounds familiar? This is Trump over and over again. Make America Great Again means I will jump over hurdles and run hoops to be your one and only saviour!

Here’s the scary part. The man who applauded the Nazis as very fine people and the one who slept with a porn star, albeit he claims he didn’t but that is besides the point. Let’s not forget he is a convicted felon and the ONE who pushed and got the so-called “patroits” to storm the capitol, he was and is nothing more than a whole lot of hot air, not to mention a dangerous man when he is crossed. He is also the friend of dictators and a wanna be dictator himself. Trump is a liar, doesn’t get his facts right and he is known for misusing information to his advantage. If he gets control of the White House and uses it as his bully pulpit, Lord help us all.

Biden, on the other hand, was right when he said, “I’m looking at a convicted felon standing next to me.” Nothing more, nothing less. What’s a convicted felon doing vying for a chance at running the highest office in the land? The answer is clear and simple. There is nothing in the US Constitution to prevent a convicted felon from occupying the Oval Office if fairly elected. Time they changed that don’t you think? Moving on, Biden came on stage looking pale, unsteady on his feet and at times he seemed to lose his train of thought. His speech impediment made it seem more so. Nature is not kind as far as age is concerned, it slows your gait, you need time to think and standing on stage for over 1 1/2 hours is not easy either. In spite of all that, Biden did deliver some punches when it was necessary and it found its mark. He called Trump a liar, which he is. He called him an abuser of women and there is no doubt about that. He called him delusional, nothing further from the truth and a man of low integrity, well that is the honest truth.

The kid pretending to be a grown-up was easy to figure out. The vindictiveness was well-hidden but it was there hiding just beneath the surface. The cat has been let out of the bag a long time ago and his record as a vindictive and narcissistic individual has been proven. You don’t need a debate to show who is a better candidate. The record speaks for itself.

If I had to choose between a convicted felon and a man who stutters because he has a speech impediment, I know hands-down who I would choose. It’s not about how much hot air one can spew into the air and pull the wool over everyone’s eyes. It is about integrity, honesty and a clear-headed approach to issues which demand presidential acumen and not a private and personal vendetta. Words such as pale as death, disastrous, agonizing and much worse have been used to describe Biden’s debate performance but if you ask me that is nothing compared to the bully and the felon standing on stage pretending to be an outstanding citizen and one who is appropriate to take the helms of the highest office in the land. He is a walking nightmare and much much more!

My money is on Biden!
