Epic Trump Takedown! (Archives)

I’m reposting this again because what Nate White had to say about Trump still stands true. The man (not king) is on a path of destruction. Rule of law does not apply where he is concerned but then again why should it? He is a convicted felon with 34 counts to his name so how did he make it to the highest office in the land? A question many are asking over and over again. Ask Elon Musk is my answer. Watching Trump talk about criminals (the immigrant variety) and the home-grown ones is nothing short of ironic. People with tattoos and if you’re brown-skinned you’re a gang member no due process required. That was Abrego Garcia’s fate who is sitting somewhere in a Salvadorian Gulag. Is he still alive? No one knows for sure. However, the one with the tattoos is now the Defense Secretary and the “criminal” is talking about sending people off to Salvador to meet their fate while rule of law is going to hell in a handbasket!

Here is the best description of Trump ever and it was penned by Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England.

“Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem. He has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace.”

He goes on to add:

“And in Britain we traditionally side with David not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs; Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that. He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat. He’s more of a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege.”

There’s more to this epic takedown and it goes like this:

“his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit…..He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W. look smart….if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws…..he would make a Trump….If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be a boxed set.”

Hands up if you disagree. Perfectly put together and it was an epic takedown if there ever was one!

Trump Jong Un

It’s not enough that he has tanked the economy and blown up the WTO system of global growth and stability. The man who loves jumping at anything he sees as a money making scheme is off and running to another debacle, one which is more to his liking.

Rumor has it that he wants a military parade for his birthday. Nothing new here, he has been hinting at it ever since he attended one in Paris for Bastille Day in 2017. If it takes place at all, it would fall on his birthday which is Saturday, June 14 and coincidentally it just so happens to be the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army. It is rumored that the Trump administration is “reportedly looking to add a parade that would stretch nearly four miles, from the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, across the Potomac River, into D.C. How about Hegseth leading the charge, bare-chested and flaunting his tattoos and wearing the Amerian flag? Patriotic enough? Let’s not forget Musk doing the Nazi salute and Trump grinning from ear to ear.

The cost of such a parade would be phenomenal but didn’t he say they’ve got 2 billion coming in each day from tariffs alone? Should be enough to cover the cost don’t you think?

Global economies are hanging in the balance and a full-blown Trade War is looming and hissing at the fringes so what’s missing? Let’s add a military parade to the mix why don’t we? One that proclaims America’s might as a superpower with a message that says, “Don’t fool with us!” Remind you of anything?

Enough said.

“Stupid is as Stupid Does.” (Archives)

Update:

Nothing much has changed there. He has tanked the economy, the stock markets are crashing, he has picked fights with the allies and now has started the dumbest trade war ever! Nothing much is going on up there under that toupee except stupidity of the worst kind!

Photo by cottonbro studio on Pexels.com

Trump’s modus operandi is always the same. Open mouth and insert foot! The man doesn’t care if it’s the truth, lies or made-up exaggerations. It’s all fair game to him as long as it gives him the upper hand but that is only in his mind. We know better and the fact-checkers know better too. His racist-tinged lies, inaccuracies and hoopla are affecting his campaign but he doesn’t care. Trump knows best because he is the ‘man’ as far as he is concerned.

On Thursday, he stepped up to the podium again and inserted more than his foot in his mouth this time around. He degraded veterans and gold-star families by saying that mega-donor, Miriam Adelson is a national hero. Not realizing what he had just said, he went on his merry way. According to the self-proclaimed ‘stable genius’ they are one and the same. “The Presidential Medal of Freedom is the highest award you can get as a civilian, it’s the equivalent of the Congressional Medal of Honor, but civilian version. It’s actually much better, because everyone gets the Congressional Medal of Honor – that’s soldiers. They’re either in very bad shape because they’ve been hit so many times by bullets, or they’re dead.”

Hmm…..what else would you expect from someone who received five military draft deferments during the Vietnam War and is absolutely clueless about what it means to put your life on the line for your country.

“Ignorance is the absence of knowledge, stupidity is the refusal to acquire or accept it.” Unknown

Kevin D. Williamson says in his article, “Lazy, Stupid, Childish,” that “Trump’s three big problems as a candidate are precisely the same qualities that mitigated the worst of what might have been a much worse Trump presidency the last time around. He is lazy, he is stupid, and he is childish.”

Perfectly said but let’s add ‘crazy’ to that as well. He further adds, “Trump’s stupidity is wrapped up in his laziness. Anyone who has heard Trump speak or read his unedited writing knows that he is not an especially intelligent man. But his stupidity is compounded by his ignorance – the fact that he is too lazy to do his homework and acquire the kind of grasp of the issues that would make him a more effective candidate.”

No chance of that ever happening because Mr. Trump marches to his own drumbeat and his stupidity arises from that one simple fact. Mr. Williamson knows exactly why Trump’s stupidity is front and center. He says, “there is a reason he wanders all over the place in his speeches – it isn’t only arrogance and self-centeredness. He’s dumber than nine chickens.”

“Nothing in all the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.” Martin Luther King

Michael Moore, “Fahrenheit 9/11” director is hopeful that Donald Trump will do more of the same as he faces off with Kamala Harris on the debate stage in September. His prediction is that, “Trump could struggle when facing the Democratic VP onstage. I think I’m going to see what I was hoping for eight years. Once anybody gets under that thin skin anything could happen. On live TV? Trump could explode, start talking like a 12-year-old, or get up and leave.”

Or, he could resort to name-calling, race-baiting and jump up and down like the spoiled little brat he is. Regardless of what he does, he will be facing off against a much better candidate who knows where to strike while the iron is hot. And that folks is the absolute truth and it will be something to watch.

Gaggle of Fools

“Common sense is a flower that doesn’t grow in everyone’s garden.” Unknown

Trump is calling the Signal breach debacle a ‘witch hunt’ and Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, is standing on his head and denying that the Signal chat messages contained any classified materials. However, The Atlantic published those messages on Wednesday and it was clear to everyone whether you’re an expert on operational security or not, that a massive breach of sensitive information had taken place. The Trump regime is sticking to wordplay. More specifically, “Attack plans vs. War plans.” Does it matter? According to them, it does.

Instead of taking accountability and trying to correct a mistake, they are thumping their chests and blowing smoke in every direction. However, the truth remains. One source had this to say, “We don’t provide that level of information on unclassified systems, in order to protect the lives and safety of the servicemembers carrying out these strikes. If we did, it would be wholly irresponsible. My most junior analysts know not to do this.”

The Defence Secretary should have known this if he had been qualified. Therein lies the truth of the matter.

“Sometimes the majority only means that all the fools are on the same side.” Unknown

The Psychobabble

Photo by cottonbro studio on Pexels.com

It’s coming from the highest office in the land and from the Liar-in-Chief and a convicted felon at that.

Not really surprising you might say BUT it is. Liars lie and convicted felons? Well, they are adapt at unleashing more crimes especially if they have not been held accountable the first time around. The man in question has 34 convictions to his name. What does that tell you? Perhaps, he is not fit to be POTUS?

According to one source, America still has the #1 economy. It’s just a matter of time before he wrecks that as well. As for America’s “reputation, trustworthiness, dependability, morality, believability and exemplary conduct, Donald Trump and his political followers have managed to quite literally cause a global earthquake on the magnitude of 10……he has certainly ruined the image of the United States beyond its borders.”

If that’s not enough, the daily “Psychobabble” coming out of the White House and from one person in particular is hard to bear and for SOME of us, it is akin to mental torture.

The lies keep on coming and his dreams of acquiring Canada as the 51st state to Greenland being next in line is jarring to say the least. The man has big dreams of which nightmares are made of. He spouts lies forgetting that he is on the world stage and that fact checkers are hard at work proving him wrong. Even if they do, he’s off to his next rant repeating those lies over and over again and with a straight face I might add while the rest of the world cringes at those bold-faced lies.

It does not matter because Orange Jesus will stand on his head if he has to and declare it to be the truth and nothing but the truth. It’s what liars do but the fact that the “lies” are used blatantly to bolster his image and to make him seem like Mighty Mouse is scary but what’s scarier is the fact that his supporters are backing him up and eating everything up and that folks is unimaginable to the normal mind at least.

Bully Bites the Dust?!! (Archives)

I wrote this before he made it as the 47th President. However, nothing much has changed. The man is throwing temper tantrums like its nobody’s business, doesn’t care about rule of law and his bullying tactics have gained strength. He is going rogue with a partner by his side cheering him on. Elon Musk is of the same caliber and the two together are wrecking havoc more than a wrecking ball can!

Jury finds Trump liable and orders him to pay a whopping and I mean a whopping sum of $83.3 million in damages to E. Jean Carroll who alleged that Trump raped her in a department store in the mid-1990s and then went on to defame her when he denied her claim.

Trump for his part walked out during closing statements and that move hurt him badly. The man is known for throwing a temper tantrum when something doesn’t go his way and “rule of law” is not what he stands for. He loves thumping his nose at it and he did it again on Friday but to his detriment. The huffing and puffing and blow the house down part is still to come but we will see it sooner than later. When have you known him to keep his mouth shut? At least, the grin has been wiped off his face, the one he wore after the New Hampshire win.

The man who boasted about grabbing crotch in 2016 and making light of it found himself in an uproar back then. He went on to say, “Anyone who knows me knows these words don’t reflect who I am.” His frequent derogatory remarks have proved to be a major liability for him which brings me to the present. This time around it is going to cost him in a big way. According to Roberta Kaplan, Carroll’s lawyer, “All he really understands is money and so you should award an amount of money that will make him stop. Whether that will succeed, I don’t know, I sure hope it will.”

E. Jean Carroll had this to say, “it is a huge defeat for every bully who has tried to keep a woman down.” More than that, the rule of law applies to everyone AND the man eyeing another term in the White House should learn to abide by it. However, that is a big ask of someone who has never toed the line and probably never will. That is the hard truth.

The Narcissist-in-Chief

Photo by Engin Akyurt on Pexels.com

He’s at it again. I think the time he spends sitting on his golden throne in the early morning hours is definitely affecting his thinking process not to mention his policy making decisions.

The stock market has taken a dive, he has halted aid to Ukraine and as if that wasn’t enough he has started the dumbest trade war. The allies are in an uproar because the Narcissist-in-Chief is acting like a schoolyard bully throwing punches left and right. Perhaps he is mad because talks with President Zelensky didn’t go as expected. Narcissists are used to having things their way and when the “bullying” didn’t produce the effects they expected, Zelensky was sent packing. However, instead of being praised for what they did, the backlash was heavy-handed and not to his liking.

If that wasn’t enough to stop him in his tracks, the “bully” is back and he is kicking up his heels. He has put new 25% tariffs on imports from Mexico and Canada and they are not taking it sitting down. Both countries are vowing to retaliate in a way that will hurt and hit hard at the same time.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that Ottawa would respond with 25% tariffs on (20,7 billion) worth of U.S. imports. Ontario Premier Doug Ford told NBC that “they are ready to cut off shipments of nickel and transmission of electricity from his province to the U.S.” Claudia Sheinbaum will announce her response later today as far as Mexico is concerned and China will impose an additional tariff of 10% – 15% starting March 10 and new export restrictions for designated U.S. entities as well. Tit for Tat and it is only going to get worse.

“Today’s reckless decision by the U.S. administration is forcing Canada and U.S. toward recessions, job losses and economic disaster,” according to Canadian Chamber of Commerce CEO Candace Laing.

The spin cycle is set at a blistering pace but the convicted felon who has 34 felony convictions to his name and who is now the current president is marching on impervious to the havoc and destruction he has caused and is causing in his wake. He’s off and running to his next debacle which will take place sooner than later, of this I am sure. Just a matter of time.

The Bully (Archives)

I wrote this a while back but looks like nothing much has changed, if anything the bullying has taken a persona of its own and it is terrifying if not downright disgusting.

Photo by Andrea Piacquadio on Pexels.com

“Bullying is the result of an unequal power dynamic – the strong attacking the weak.” Maria Konnikova

Trump is toxic, he is dangerous and he is a bully through and through. He has used the bully pulpit to his advantage and used his power to belittle those he deems not worthy of compassion or kindness. The man is ruthless when it comes to spewing insults. His motto is, “Talk first, think later,” and this approach has got him into hot water more than once. It seems his toxic nature is part and parcel of his makeup, character wise I mean. Furthermore, he is sorely lacking in how a President should present himself because everything comes down to one thing and that is himself. It is not about the people but about loud-mouthed, asinine Trump and that is why he goes from one gaffe to the next all the while with that Cheshire cat grin plastered on his face.

According to James Barber, who published a well-known study on presidential character, a good President should have the following leadership qualities:

A strong vision for the country’s future.

An ability to put their own times in the perspective of history.

Effective communication skills.

The courage to make unpopular decisions.

Crisis management skills.

Character and integrity.

Wise appointments.

An ability to work with Congress.

Furthermore, he added that Presidents must wear many hats and they “must somehow symbolize what American citizens believe to be the essence of their country. They must represent what is valued now and in the past. But even more importantly, they embody the direction of America’s future.”

Do you see Trump doing any or all of the above? He is first and foremost a playground bully who marches to his own drumbeat and that fact alone makes him more than dangerous. One thing he is good at is name-calling and he does it with such prowess that it is mind boggling. From “Crooked Hillary,” to “Pocohontas,” for Elizabeth Warren, to “Shifty Schiff,” for Adam Schiff and “Sleepy Biden,” for Biden but that is just touching the tip of the iceberg. Mr. Trump does not hold back when it comes to throwing punches of the unsavory kind. He takes it all in stride and moves on like the master manipulator he is.

He is single-handedly changing the characteristics of a President but not for the better. ”From referencing a television host’s menstrual cycle to using vulgar phrases to describe opponents to his encouragement of violence at rallies, Trump’s insults have known no bounds and have been a dominant storyline of the campaign,” and continue to be so even today. Other candidates have used insults and mud-slinging but not to the extend that “Orange Jesus” has. ”His speeches have crossed lines, pushed fact checkers to their limits and incited backlash – all the while further stoking the passions of his most ardent supporters.” Just look at his recent debacle where he said he would “encourage” Russia to attack any NATO country that does not contribute 2% of its GDP to the alliance’s coffers. It was a reckless threat which has contributed to fierce backlash in Europe. Does he care? What do you think?

Add to that his constant posturing like a peacock, running his mouth like a loose faucet and his GOD complex mentality and you’ve got a bully at his very best alas to the detriment of the country. Biden’s mental acuity is concerning but Trump’s playground antics and all out temper tantrums are far more terrifying if you ask me.
