Storm Luise moved in yesterday and it brought gale-force to hurricane-force winds with it. Not only that, it caused widespread damage, injuries, and travel disruptions. She (it) came in with such force and decided to stay for a while. Last night, was a noisy one. Luise at play kept my Chachi awake for most of the night.
This morning, the wind is still blowing and a carpet of leaves is lying on the ground. I suppose something needed to huff, puff, and blow the leaves down. Looks like she did a good job.
The weather forecast says that she will be moving out soon only to be followed by another storm system called Storm Manja. This one will show up on Saturday night and stay into Sunday. It will also be accompanied by gale-force to hurricane-force gusts and heavy rainfall.
This weekend will be a stormy one it seems. Time to cozy up with coffee, Chachi, the cat, and watch something good on TV.
Not that bad after all. There is always a positive angle to everything. Look for it, grasp it, smile, and enjoy your day.
