The Blind Marine

However, it is not your typical blonde girl joke. I thought it was hilarious.

An old, blind Marine wanders into an all-girl biker bar by mistake.

He finds his way to a bar stool and orders a shot of Jack Daniels.

After sitting there for a while, he yells to the bartender, ‘Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?’

The bar immediately falls absolutely silent.

In a very deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says,

‘Before you tell that joke I think it is only fair, given that you are blind, that you should know five things:

1. The bartender is a blonde girl with a baseball bat.

2. The bouncer is a blonde girl.

3. I’m a 6-foot tall, 175-pound blonde woman with a black belt in karate.

4. The woman sitting next to me is blonde and a professional weight lifter.

5. The lady to your right is blonde and a professional wrestler.

Now, think about it seriously, do you still wanna tell that blonde joke?’

The blind Marine thinks for a second, shakes his head and mutters, ‘No…not if I’m gonna have to explain it five times.’

Smart answer!

Crypto What?!!

Just kidding.  I know what cryptocurrency is because I was married to someone who was a heavyweight in the investment field.  He loved investing and taking risks.  Sometimes there were wins and at other times he took a hit but he used to say that it was part of taking a risk and I agree.  That is why I love safe bets!

However, if truth be told, there is always a risk factor involved in investments and unfortunately that is the truth and with some investments more so than others.

Coming back to cryptocurrency.  What is it?  It is defined as a “digital form of money that exists only online and has no physical coins or paper bills.” Sounds daunting?  It is to me.  You store your crypto in a software program called a digital wallet.  Here is the thing, cryptocurrency is considered an investment asset but a high-risk one and if your portfolio size is a big one, go for it.

I’d rather stick with less risky investments.  I have two but I won’t go into them here.  The two have grown in worth but it took years and I consider them to be safe bets.  Crypto?  It is for people like my ex who don’t mind losing and ones who get an adrenalin rush when they get wins.

I breathe easy with mine and that matters.

What are your thoughts about cryptocurrency?
